Sorry I didn't post anything yesterday. I thought that the Safari lodge we stayed at would have internet access, but they did not.
Anyway, we had a great time on Safari and saw a lot of cool animals. I'm sure you will all see tons of pictures when we get back. It was a good way to wind down from our time in Mairowa. We are preparing to head home tomorrow and would apprectiate all your prayers for safety and patience (we have a couple of long layovers). This will be my last post from the African continent.

Back from Mairowa!
We had such a great time. I do not even have enough time to begin describing our experience, thoughts, and emotions. I will let everyone do that on their own when we return home. It was so great and everyone did so well. We were stretched beyond our comfort zones and learned how to trust God. We worked hard and loved on the children there. We took hose showers and ate dinner by candle light. God is working in all of our hearts and we are going to ponder our time in Mairowa for a long time. It was truly life-changing. We can't wait to tell you all more about it in person. Thank you for your prayers.
Tomorrow we head off to Safari for some much deserved R and R. The students worked so hard and I am so proud of every one of them.

Church and the Market
We went to Godsave's church today and it was a great experience. The Africans are a tad more expressive in their worship and it was a ton of fun. We were at church for almost 3 hours and we arrived after it started and left before it ended. We went to a Massai market and spent our money on ebony trinkets. (I am not responsible for what your kids bring home) Fortunately no one could figure out how to bring the 5 foot spears onto the airplane.
We are all healthy aside from a few headaches and tiredness.
Tomorrow we head to Mairowa for 3 nights, so this will be my last post until Thursday. Please pray for continued health and that our efforts in Mairowa would be productive. Pray that we all adjust well to the rustic living conditions and that we don't fall into complaining. We are excited to see what God has in store for us.

Fun in Mairowa
Today we had a great time with all the children. We arrived after a 3 hour car ride and immediately began playing with the children. There were about 200 or so from the village and we helped feed them. Everyone had a great time. We also helped pick beans from the garden at the school. On our way to and from Mairowa we saw Gazelles, Impalas, Ostrich, and Giraffes. Tomorrow we go to church. We are all doing very well, just a little tired. Thank you all for your continued prayers.

We're Here!
We are all doing well and finally settled in for the night. (the time difference is 10 hours, so I guess I'm writing you from the future)
Our trip was very long and relatively uneventful. We are are healthy and still a little taken by the fact that we are actually in Africa. Even more amazingly, all of our luggage made it as well.
Tomorrow we have breakfast at 6:30 and head to Mairowa where we help feed the children and spend time with them. We'll head back to the hotel in Arusha (where we are now) at the end of the day. Please pray that we get good rest and that we have an amazing time with the kids tomorrow.
